The Mount Dallas Board is happy to announce that the proposed 2025 budget has been approved. The vote tally and summary was shared at the Vote Tallying Meeting held June 10th at 4pm via Zoom. For those who could not attend, we’ve attached a summary of the budget vote, including how each property owner voted. The Board would like to thank all who worked tirelessly to make this budget review process a success.
The court order mandates that “if the number of votes cast in favor of approval of the proposed budget is at least 50% of parcels owned by paid-up property owners, then the budget is approved”. Our results were higher than the court mandate. Our Mount Dallas community supported the proposed budget with 73% (61 parcels) voting to approve the budget and only 1% (1 parcel) voting not to approve. Of 84 parcels, 26% (22 parcels) did not vote.
